graphical setup
Graphically configure the DynaVibe GX to match your aircraft:  number of propeller blades, number of potential weight adjustment locations, and sensor configuration.
live polar charting
Vibration readings are displayed and charted in real-time, helping you visualize the balancing process, identify vibration characteristics that vary with RPM, and spot other anticipated issues during the run-up.
automated solutions
The DynaVibe GX quickly learns from each run and adjustment, determining the precise mass addition needed to balance the prop assembly.

Weight recommendations are given down to the exact angle and bolt location, automatically splitting mass between two bolts when needed.
automated run logging
The DynaVibe GX automatically records the vibration measurements and adjustments for each run.

process visualization
The DynaVibe GX plots each run on a polar chart making process visualization quick, easy, and intuitive.
report generation
The DynaVibe GX generates a detailed report once the balancing process is complete.  The report includes:
  • Date & Time information
  • Aircraft ID, owner, etc.
  • Table of runs, readings and adjustments
  • Locations and masses of final weights
  • Graphical depiction of setup and adjustments
  • Spectral vibration analysis of the final run
PERFECT FOR PROFESSIONAL AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
"The DynaVibe has made so many airplanes smooth as glass. We troubleshot this vibration down to misaligned prop mounting. Then we mounted it per the manual and dynamically balanced it to 0.02 IPS.  Smooooth!"

- Brian Butler, Reliable Aircraft Maintenance, Yukon, OK
DO MORE THAN PROP BALANCE
Vibration spectral analysis is a powerful tool that helps identify and differentiate sources of vibration.
What You Feel
What The GX Feels
How It Knows
Sometimes vibration isn't coming from the propeller assembly and the vibration source can be next to impossible to identify; however, the DynaVibe GX3 can lead you in the right direction using spectral analysis.  Each source of vibration usually has an identifiable peak.
For example, on a non-geared, four-stroke engine,
  • Propeller assembly vibration will be at 1x the tach frequency.
  • Vibration from weak cylinders gives a peak at 0.5x the tach frequency
  • Prop-wash will be dominate at 2x the tach frequency for a two-bladed prop (proportional to the number of blades).
  • Engine accessory vibrations can be identified using the ratios listed in the type certificates
Automated Solutions = Time Savings!
"We went from 1.16 IPS to 0.01 IPS with a single adjustment!

I was absolutely amazed with the results and the level of accuracy that the GX provided."

- Ed Sorrell, South Florida Aircraft Maintenance
